How does it work? |
Child Safety / ID Day is simple to set up. After visiting with the school/daycare, etc., a date is chosen.
Information forms are sent home a week in advance of the event date. The day of the event, digital
fingerprints and photographs are taken as well as height and weight. The kits are completed and
returned to the event location in approximately 3 weeks (in some cases they will be mailed directly to
you).
What does the kit contain?
2 durable, waterproof wallet ID cards, an 8 1/2 x 11 printout (contains child's photo, all 10 digital
fingerprints, DOB, eye & hair color, height & weight, address and phone for both parents/guardians,
doctor and dentist information, distinguishing marks) and a CD.
Does Child Smart ID save my child's information?
No! All databases are deleted within 30 days.
Does Child Smart ID take height and weight measurements?
Yes! Height and weight measurements can be taken on site during the photo and fingerprint session.
What if my child is absent the day of the event?
You have a few options....you can order any of our Child ID Kits from the web site and/or a Travel ID.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer digital fingerprints online, but we can certainly help you protect your
child with our other kit options without having to wait for another Safety / ID Event date.
How can my child's school/daycare schedule an event with Child Smart ID?
If you would like to have our services offered at your child's school, please contact us with the school's
phone # and a contact name (if possible). Click on the "Contact Us" link to the left. We will work with
them to schedule an event.
